Escape shirk(idolatry) by way of the Old Paths.

Escape shirk(idolatry) by way of the Old Paths.

Christian Theologian John Knox (1505-1572) defined idolatry as:

all worshipping, honoring, or service invented by the brain of man in the religion of God, without his own express commandment.

This stands in contrast to Islam which teaches people to just say God is one all while teaching people to worship the Most high in a manner not ordained in His holy law. In fact, the Bible makes it clear that even the demons say God is one(James 2:19) and we all know they are damned to hell. Islamic law(Shariah) is an innovation that attempts to replace the commands of the Yahweh God which stand forever(Psalms 119:160). The Messiah Himself said that he didn't come to abrogate the law(Matthew 5:17) but what law was he referring to? We know for a fact it wasn't Islamic law a body of commands which was unknown to Adam, Abraham, Joseph, Moses, David, Isaiah or any previous messenger.

Muslim's are incorrectly violating God's commands all while thinking they are upholding His law. I'll take it one step further Muhammad never followed what is called the Shariah, because it didn't exist during his lifetime. None of the numerous books of fatwa or schools of thought where created by any prophet, so how could they represent God's law? They represent man-made traditions much like the religious traditions of the Pharisee's, and what did Jesus say about religious traditions?

Mark 7:9,13  "And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition ... Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye."

It is incumbent on the idolater to confess their sin and repent and return to the old paths of the Most High(Jeremiah 6:16). The old path is not Islam since God's revelations pre-date Islam. The prophets and messengers worshiped at the tent of meeting and the temple in Jerusalem eons before the Kaaba existed. Furthermore, the Messiah has opened a new way to the Father which isn't based on location but on spirit and truth(John4:23). When you accept who the Messiah truly is you will be washed clean from all sins with an everlasting true wudu(ritual washing).  You also will be given a new heart that is acceptable to God that will allow you to come before Him without fear and to worship Him with true worship forever.
